I'm New

We understand that looking for a church can be a difficult endeavor. A great deal of time can be spent trying to determine if a church will be right for you. We are glad you are here!

You will most likely experience South Ridge Church for the first time in our weekend services or one of our life groups. The weekend services are structured to help people understand what we call "real life." Jesus said, "I have come that they might have life and have it to the full" (John 10:10, NIV). In these services we attempt to help people understand the meaning of real life through inspirational worship, prayer, practical Bible teaching, communion, and baptism. We hope you find the environment genuine, upbeat, and friendly. We strive to make our groups a place where people can experience "real relationships" through meaningful conversations, support, and Biblical teaching.

Below you will find additional information and links to help get you acquainted better with South Ridge Church. We are one church in two locations: Fairmont and Bridgeport.

*** 2023 Important Update: We will be relaunching our Bridgeport church in September 2023. This church, which will be called Ridge View Church and be pastored by our current pastor Nathaniel "Looch" Lutyens, will function independently as a sister church to South Ridge. We are so excited for this new church plant! If you have any questions about this, you can email looch@southridgechurch.net. ***
South Ridge Church has enjoyed steady growth since February 6, 2005, and our vision continues today. This vision is to provide people with the opportunity to experience real life, real relationships, and real purpose through a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. It is also our prayer that God would use us in the future to begin new local churches in other communities throughout the great state of West Virginia and beyond.
