Leadership

Daniel serves as the Lead Pastor and Board Member of South Ridge Church. He loves people and is passionate about communicating the gospel in a variety of ways. In his role as Lead Pastor, Daniel provides organizational leadership and serves as the primary teacher and communicator at weekend services. He has a Master's degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, and a Doctor of Ministry degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Daniel loves spending time with his wife Alison, their three boys Henry, Shepherd, and Everett, and their youngest, a daughter named Hazel. Daniel is a self-proclaimed foodie who enjoys traveling, hunting, smoking briskets, studying culture and theology, and spending time with his family.

Justin Wright is a Pastor & Board Member at South Ridge Church who desires to see people of all ages grow in Spiritual and Emotional Health. He also has a passion to help married couples thrive in their Friendship, Unity, and Intimacy. Justin’s original background was Elementary Education, and he later went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Christian Studies from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (TEDS) in Deerfield, IL.  Justin is married to Megan and they have two children, Lydia and Emma.  In his free time Justin enjoys time with friends, music, and tabletop gaming.

Nathaniel “Looch” Lutyens is serving as a Board Member at South Ridge Church and launched a new church plant from South Ridge called Ridge View Church in the Bridgeport area in 2023. Looch has a Bachelor’s degree in History from West Virginia University and a Master’s Degree in Theological Studies from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Prior to coming on staff with South Ridge Church, he served as the Young Life Area Director in Harrison County, WV, for eleven years. Looch is married to Gina and has two kids, Jimmy and Elsie. Looch and his family live in Bridgeport and have had a long-term vision of serving in and leading a church body in Bridgeport. Looch is also the head cross country coach and an assistant track coach at Bridgeport High School. He enjoys reading, making and drinking coffee, being with his family, gardening, and playing fantasy football and baseball.

Seth began his ministry career at Chestnut Ridge Church in Morgantown, West Virginia, as a Pastoral Intern who provided oversight and care to several growing ministries within the church. With a team of people who had a vision to plant a church from Chestnut Ridge in the Fairmont area, he became the Founding Pastor of South Ridge Church in 2004. He served as the Lead Pastor until September of 2021, when he became the National Director of Ministry Relationships/ Field Staff with Freedom In Christ Ministries - USA. He and his wife, Stacy, and their three children Ella, Grant, and Jared, continue to be active members and servant leaders at South Ridge Church and in the Fairmont Community. When he is not working, he enjoys time with family and friends, and zipping around town on his mini moto.

Ben Young serves as a board member at SRC, and has been a member of SRC for 16 years. He has enjoyed leading and hosting small groups over the years and currently co-leads the Thursday mornings men's bible study. He graduated from Alderson Broaddus and holds bachelor’s degrees in both math and computer science, as well as two masters degrees from WVU in computer science and business administration. He has a heart for growing leaders and retaining jobs in West Virginia. He currently works at Leidos in Morgantown as a program manager. He resides in Fairmont with his wife Lorrie and their three children Caleb, Jack and Claire. In his spare time he enjoys connecting to the community through coaching and sports, as well as golfing, hiking, and walking with his dog, Charlie.

Kelley Lemons is the Financial, Human Resources, and Office Administrator at South Ridge Church. Kelley was born and raised in Virginia. She has a bachelor’s degree from Fairmont State University in Aviation Administration. She is married to her college sweetheart, Scott, and have two boys, Jackson, and Jonnie, two dogs and fifteen chickens. In her free time, Kelley enjoys family time, gardening and reading.

Jennifer Wilson is the Communications and Connections Director at South Ridge Church. Her primary responsibilities are to manage most of the church's communication and help connect new guests and long-time attendees. Jennifer has a bachelor's degree in Media Communication Administration from Asbury University in Wilmore, KY. Prior to coming on staff at SRC, Jennifer worked as a marketing director and a teacher, and she has held multiple volunteer positions within SRC Ministries. She is married to Josh and has two adult children, Elias and Bella. In her free time, Jennifer loves to read and write, and she can strike up a conversation with just about anyone!

Cassi Hersey is the Family Ministry Director at South Ridge Church. She and Cassidy Lanz oversee all aspects of ministry to children from birth to 4th grade.   Cassi has a Bachelor’s degree from Fairmont State University in Early Childhood. She is married to her best friend, Luke. She has a daughter named Bella, a cat named Mittens, a dog named Hawkeye, and several chickens. She spent over a decade at home raising her daughter, caring for friends’ children in her home, and volunteering in numerous positions in Family Ministry for many years. She enjoys family time in all forms; board games, museum trips, trips to the beach, and other adventures.

Cassidy Lanz is the Family Ministry Assistant Director at South Ridge Church. She and Cassi Hersey oversee all aspects of ministry to children from birth to 4th grade. She has attended South Ridge since she was in middle school. Cassidy has an Associate’s degree from Pierpont Community and Technical College in Food Service Management with a specialization in Baking and Pastry Arts, and is a certified Pastry Chef. Aside from her role at South Ridge, she owns a home bakery. Cassidy married Beau in 2017 and together they have a daughter, Allie, and two cats, Toast and Olive. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and running her small business.

Bobby Dunn is the Technical Director at South Ridge Church. He oversees all SRC tech including lights, video, sound, computers and networking, as well as photography and videography. Bobby has a Bachelor’s degree from Fairmont State University in Information Systems. Prior to coming on staff at South Ridge Church, he was employed as a Systems Analyst in the Information Technology field. Bobby is married to Rachel and they have two sons, Owen and Liam. He enjoys playing guitar and playing occasionally on the worship team, and also collecting vintage video games from Pong to Playstation.

Sean Moore is the Director of Missions and Worship at South Ridge Church. He oversees all administrative duties for the various worship teams that serve the church, as well as coordinating programming elements for the weekend services. Sean also serves as a member of the worship team. He oversee all local and international mission efforts. This includes leading international trips and caring for our overseas missionaries, as well as overseeing local outreach initiatives and providing support local missional partners. Prior to coming on staff at South Ridge Church, he was employed as a Worship and Youth Pastor at a local church, as well as a Project Manager for a gas utility company. He enjoys playing music, riding motorcycles, and camping.

Josh Wilson serves as Director of Student Ministries at South Ridge Church. Josh offers administrative support and connection to both the middle school and high school ministry students, volunteer leaders, and families. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Ministries from Asbury University. He holds a Master’s Degree in Information Systems Management from American Intercontinental University. In addition to serving on staff with South Ridge Church, he works full time as an Application Developer in Harrison County, WV. He also is a certified mental health & life coach and provides coaching through his company, Waypoint Care & Coaching. Josh is married to Jennifer and has two grown children, Elias and Bella. In his spare time, he enjoys being with his family, target shooting, riding his motorcycle, and learning anything new.
